The NFL's broadcast tug-of-war between CBS and Fox will continue into Week 3 of the 2022 NFL season.
The two networks are the ones that host all of the NFL's Sunday afternoon action during the season. Because they split the package, each network is given a specific number of games it can broadcast every week, and they usually alternate turns being the primary network displaying games.
In Week 3, Fox will have an upper hand over CBS. Fox will be granted the doubleheader slot for Week 3, meaning it will broadcast a game regionally in both the early and late windows while CBS broadcasts in just one window.
Additionally, Fox has an advantage in terms of the total games available to watch. The network will broadcast eight of the 13 games playing on NFL Sunday with its big focus being on Buccaneers vs. Packers, which is getting the "America's Game of the Week" treatment at Fox.

CBS' single-game slate will be pretty mixed regionally. Still, it seems like they are focusing on the Chiefs-Colts contest as Kansas City looks like one of the best teams in the NFL.

TV schedule for NFL Week 3 games
The "Sunday Night Football" game in Week 3 will feature a battle between Nathaniel Hackett's Broncos and Kyle Shanahan's 49ers. That contest should be interesting, as Hackett's coaching has come under fire during his first two games in Denver while the 49ers will be starting Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback with Trey Lance injured.
The "Monday Night Football" contest in Week 3 will feature two NFC East rivals as the Giants face the Cowboys. The Giants are a surprising 2-0 under new coach Brian Daboll while the Cowboys beat the Bengals in Week 3 with Cooper Rush starting at quarterback.
